Do Not Stand Still

"Art demands of us that we do not stand still."

- Ludwig van Beethoven

Beethoven said this 200 years ago and it's still true for all artists, especially in these challenging days. For a nature photographer, this means whether you find your subjects on your windowsill, in your yard, in your neighborhood, in the park or in a wild place, keep searching for the next composition. Keep watching the light. "Do not stand still." Maybe when these strange days pass, we'll find a new fondness for our freedom to explore when and where we like. Until then, let's keep stretching our wings where we can.
